Day 27, Lockdown

My Muse
Sometimes I dont know what to do,
When I don't have any muse.
I pick up my pen,
But I feel like a fool.
So much idle time to spend,
What do I do, I’ve reached a dead end!
My mom tells me to clean my room,
But that's not something I want to do.
Switch on the T.V., got nothing to watch,
My mom tells me to take the volume down a notch.
I have decided there's nothing to do,
I sit on the couch and stare at the wall.
I close my eyes, I hear a call!
From far beneath in my heart,
Deep down, in my feelings a part.
I think of my friends and family,
About this topic, I don't need any analysis.
I pick up my pen, My thoughts flow out.
In the form of letters, Meaningful and loud.

  1. Life is all about balance. One doesn’t always need to be getting stuff done. Sometimes it’s perfectly okay and absolutely necessary, to shut down, kick back and do nothing. One never knows, but doing nothing often leads one to the very best of something. After all one comes into this world with nothing and the purpose of one’s life is to make something out of nothing! God Bless & keep writing.
