Day-8, Lock-down

Writer’s Block— that’s what I’m experiencing today. Looking at my keyboard for long, I came up with following. Love to share with you all.

Keyboard
Lying there on her bed,
her mind is in an idle state.
Suddenly a wonderful idea clicks in her head.
She jumps off,
And takes her keyboard,
She wipes the dust away,
She hadn’t used it in days.
Her fingers twitch with excitement,
In her mind a picture she tries to paint.
As she clicks the keys,
A story is woven,
With letters like fine thread,
It was just like her mother had said,
It was better than just lying in bed.
The wonderful sound the keyboard made,
It was music to her ears,
It wiped away her tears,
When she was sad,
Other times,
It just made her glad,
To have a friend,
That only extraordinary people have had...

  1. The hardest thing one can do is to love oneself. Nobody’s perfect. If one is searching for that one person that will change one’s life, all that needs to be done is to take a look in the mirror. It’s not what the world calls you, it’s what one answers to. Wanting to be someone else is waste of the person that one is. Why try to fit in when one is born to stand out?
